Admissions and Funding
Pupils are entitled to 15 hours of free education entitlement funding from the beginning of the term after their third birthday. This is a universal entitlement and is without reference to their ability and aptitude. If there is competition for places the school's admission policy is followed, with priority given to children who are looked after or who have chosen the school as part of an EHCP, under the code of practice, or who live within our catchment area. However, a place at the nursery is not a guarantee of a place in White Hall Academy main school. Applications for school places must be made via ECC admissions from the November prior starting in the following September.
The intended number of admissions for 3-4 year olds is 60 part-time places. If you are eligible for the extended offer as a working parent, (subject to meeting criteria) we can also offer up to 30 hours per child. Where this happens there will be an adjustment to the number of part -time places on a 'first come first served' basis.
White Hall Academy Nursery is also a registered provision for 2 year olds, offering up to 15 morning or afternoon places, subject to financial eligibility checks.
Please contact the school office on 01255 422825 if you require any further information, or to check funding eligibility.
Our WHA application forms are available from the school office.
